Updated on October 28, 2023, by Rei Penber: The Worst Generation is an influential group of pirates that is currently defining a new era in the New World of One Piece. They have taken the world by storm and this generation is doing incredibly well to surpass those who came before them.

They have made great progress over time and while this list already goes over the strongest members of the group, the strongest abilities of each individual have now been added to provide an in-depth look at what they are capable of. With that, this list has now been updated.

13 Apoo Is The Least Impressive Member Of The Group

One Piece: All Members Of The Worst Generation, Ranked By Strength (2)

Apoo is the captain of the On-Air Pirates. At some point during the timeskip, he submitted to Kaido. He is quite a powerful fighter, and has powers that allow him to hurt his enemies using Fighting Music.

Apoo possesses great endurance, as he tanked a Lion's Song from Zoro and then proceeded to fight X Drake. However, his attacks certainly aren't that impressive and are easy to counter, making him one of the weakest members of the group.

Apoo In The Final Saga

One Piece: All Members Of The Worst Generation, Ranked By Strength (3)

In the Wano arc, Apoo proved himself to be the most underwhelming member of the Worst Generation. He barely got involved in anything and his powers were nothing to be taken seriously. Of course, fans got a first-hand look at his Devil Fruit ability, however, as expected, it was nothing special. Apoo spent most of the arc running away from trouble and, at the end of it, he ended up surviving.

Apoo's Strongest Technique - Tatakau Music

Apoo possesses the powers of the Oto Oto no Mi and, with it, he is able to produce sound of all types that can deal damage if heard. His strongest technique is, by far, what he calls Tatakau Music: Scratch.

He has used this technique on several occasions and, most recently, he utilized another variation of it on Luffy and Zoro. Both of these attacks proved to be efficient even against these powerful enemies.

12 Basil Hawkins Has A Tricky Ability Up His Sleeve

One Piece: All Members Of The Worst Generation, Ranked By Strength (4)

Over the years of leading the Hawkins Pirates, Basil Hawkins has amassed a bounty of 320 million berries. Many consider him extremely dangerous consindering his Wara Wara no Mi powers. He can tie his strawmen to anyone's life, and use that to his advantage in battle.

Sanji has gone through some major changes in Wano. After all that has happened, can the beloved Straw Hat still be considered human?

While Hawkins might not be the most impressive physically, he's certainly one of the most deadly fighters that one can face in battle. Nobody would want to go up against him.

Hawkins In The Final Saga

One Piece: All Members Of The Worst Generation, Ranked By Strength (6)

Basil Hawkins did end up showing his strength to the fans in the Wano arc and, it is safe to say that he was very impressive. Hawkins fought against Killer and dominated the fight for the vast majority of it. However, as soon as he ran out of bodies, it was quite easy to take him down. He was also not the smartest as he didn't realize that Kid didn't have a left arm, which is how he ended up losing to Killer.

Hawkins's Strongest Technique - Straw Man

Hawkins has quite a lot of powerful abilities up his sleeve and the strongest of them all is certainly Straw Man. Using this power, he can store someone's life in one of his dolls and then, hold the doll in his body.

As long as the doll is inside, it is their life that is going to be targeted instead of his own. He has been seen using many people as hostages using this technique.

11 Capone 'Gang' Bege Has Impressed In The Cake Island Arc

One Piece: All Members Of The Worst Generation, Ranked By Strength (7)

Capone 'Gang' Bege hails from the West Blue and is one of the most dangerous pirates on the seas, with an impressive bounty of 350 million berries on his head. Bege joined the Big Mom Pirates during the timeskip, and worked his way up to the rank of Rook.

On Big Mom's Tea Party, he attempted to assassinate her; however, his attempt failed. Nonetheless, Bege is extremely impressive in combat, and his Shiro Shiro no Mi powers make him a force to be reckoned with.

Bege In The Final Saga

One Piece: All Members Of The Worst Generation, Ranked By Strength (8)

Capone Gang Bege is one of the most underrated Worst Generation members in One Piece. In Whole Cake Island, he showed that he is quite powerful and can stand his ground even against a Yonko such as Big Mom. Bege tanked quite a few of her blows and was still in fighting shape even after. His full strength has not been seen so far, however, if Big Father is anything to go by, Bege can hold his own against most enemies.

Bege's Strongest Technique - Big Father

Bege has a great deal of defensive abilities up his sleeve and the strongest that his Devil Fruit offers him is Big Father. This technique allows them to tank some of the strongest blows even from Yonko and still remain standing. It is a very dangerous ability that offers great defense as well as decent offense.

10 X Drake Has The Power Of An Ancient Zoan Fruit

One Piece: All Members Of The Worst Generation, Ranked By Strength (9)

X Drake is a secret member of the Navy and served as a Rear Admiral at one point. Now, he is currently a member of the secret organization known as SWORD. At some point, he became a pirate to infiltrate the Beasts Pirates and attained a bounty of over 100 million berries.

During the two-year timeskip, X Drake became a Headliner of Kaido's Beasts Pirates and joined the Tobiroppo as well. He is exceptionally skilled as a fighter and his Ryu Ryu no Mi, Model: Allosaurus power makes him incredibly dangerous to take on in battle.

Drake In The Final Saga

One Piece: All Members Of The Worst Generation, Ranked By Strength (11)

Drake fought against the CP0 and took down a Number in the Wano arc. This in itself is proof enough that he was quite powerful. Furthermore, he was given the rank of Tobiroppo by Kaido, meaning that he was worthy of being among the six strongest underlings of the Yonko after the All-Stars. While Drake wasn't anything special, he was still quite strong.

Drake's Strongest Technique - X Calibur

Drake is a powerful fighter, as is evident from his rank of captain of SWORD. His strongest technique that fans have seen so far is called Xcalibur and it sees him utilize his hybrid form, along with his rapier and ax, to deliver a powerful blow on his enemies. He was able to completely knock out a member of the Numbers using this technique.

9 Jewelry Bonney

One Piece: All Members Of The Worst Generation, Ranked By Strength (12)

South Blue's Jewelry Bonney is an extremely powerful pirate and among the strongest Worst Generation members of whom fans have seen very little thus far. She had a bounty of 150 million berries before the timeskip, which goes to show that she's a very impressive figure.

RELATED: Best Anime To Watch If You Love One Piece

Bonney possesses an unnamed Devil Fruit power. With it, she is able to alter anyone's age however she wishes with simply a touch. She can easily turn her foes into old husks, or reduce them to a mere baby if she so wishes. This makes defeating her in combat extremely difficult.

Bonney In The Final Saga

8 One Piece: All Members Of The Worst Generation, Ranked By Strength (13)

Jewelry Bonney is currently playing a big role in the Egghead Island Arc and rightly so. Fans have gotten the chance to see her Devil Fruit powers properly and, needless to say, they are very scary. She can alter anyone's age with a mere touch of her palm and that means very few people can counter her ability. Although it is temporary, it is enough for her to defeat most of her foes if she plays it smart.

Bonney's Strongest Technique - Distortion Future

Using her Devil Fruit, Bonney can make use of different age-related powers. Her strongest that fans have seen so far is known as Distortion Future and this ability allows her to access an alternate form of herself, which is bulkier and stronger.

She can also turn anyone into a very weak version of themselves, such as when she turned Luffy into a 70-year-old man with little to no strength.

7 Urouge

One Piece: All Members Of The Worst Generation, Ranked By Strength (14)

The captain of the Fallen Monk Pirates, Urouge is also a part of the Worst Generation. Before the timeskip, he had a bounty of 108 million berries, which was the lowest among the Eleven Supernova.

After the timeskip, Urouge infiltrated Totland and faced off against Sweet Commander Snack, whom he defeated in battle. He was then defeated by Cracker; however, Urouge's feat is still very impressive and makes him one of the strongest members of the group.

Urouge In The Final Saga

One Piece: All Members Of The Worst Generation, Ranked By Strength (15)

Urouge is one of the very few members of the Worst Generation strong enough to stand up to a commander of a Yonko. He defeated Charlotte Snack and, since then, he has not been seen in the story all that much. It goes without saying that Urouge is quite strong, however, fans need to know more about him to gauge his strength better.

Urouge's Strongest Technique - Inga Zarashi

Urouge has an unknown Devil Fruit at this point in time, however, fans have already seen a bit of how it works. Urouge most definitely possesses stronger techniques, but fans have only seen Inga Zarashi from him, which allows him to convert the damage that he takes into his strength and return it to his enemies.

6 Killer

One Piece: All Members Of The Worst Generation, Ranked By Strength (16)

The First Mate of the Kid Pirates, Killer is an extremely powerful fighter who took part in "The Clash of the Monsters" on Onigashima. Along with other Worst Generation members, he fought Kaido and Big Mom, and fared well against them.

He is currently fighting against Basil Hawkins and appears to be quite a match for him. Killer's true power remains unknown, but he's certainly a worthy member of the group.

Killer In The Final Saga

One Piece: All Members Of The Worst Generation, Ranked By Strength (18)

Killer played a big role in the Wano Arc, and he took part in the battle of monsters atop the roof of Onigashima. Killer fought against both Kaido and Big Mom, however, he didn't do anything significant in this battle at all. Later, he fought against Hawkins even though he was already injured at this point, and still managed to win, which is impressive. Sadly, he was dismantled by Shanks with a single swing of the sword that wasn't even aimed at him in the Egghead arc.

Killer's Strongest Technique - Sonic Blade

Killer is a very powerful member of the Worst Generation and fans have seen him utilise quite a lot of his incredible powers. The strongest of these abilities is surely the Sonic Blade that he used in the fight against Hawkins.

This technique was powerful enough to put him in a near-death state, later leading him to collapse. Hawkins might actually have died as a result of the injuries he carried from his fight against Killer.

5 Roronoa Zoro

One Piece: All Members Of The Worst Generation, Ranked By Strength (19)

Roronoa Zoro is the swordsman of the Straw Hat Pirates, and is known as the Pirate Hunter. He aims to become the strongest swordsman in the world by defeating Mihawk — a goal for which he must grow extremely powerful. Zoro proved himself on Onigashima by scarring Kaido with his strongest attack, called Dead Man's Game.

Although Kaido defeated Zoro, he's back at full power now and is fighting against King the Wildfire. This was one of the most incredible fights in One Piece after the two-year timeskip. Although Zoro struggled against King initially, he managed to tap into the true power of Enma by allowing it to absorb as much Haki as it possibly could, allowing him to use techniques that were on a completely different level. With just a few blows, Zoro toppled a man worth 1.390 billion berries, which just goes to show that he's one of the strongest Worst Generation members. The only downside of Zoro's power is that he can't maintain it for long.

Zoro In The Final Saga

One Piece: All Members Of The Worst Generation, Ranked By Strength (20)

Zoro ended up defeating King in Wano and that is surely his biggest accomplishment to date. On Egghead Island, he has shown his incredible strength once again by taking on S-Hawk. Zoro is now stronger than ever before and has gained control over his ability to infuse Conqueror's Haki as well. There is still quite some room for him to grow but he's already ferocious.

Zoro's Strongest Technique - Dragon Damnation

Zoro has quite a lot of powerful techniques up his sleeve but the strongest of them all right now is Dragon Damnation. This technique was used by him and the fight against King.

By channeling his Conqueror's and Armament Haki through his blades, Zoro was able to launch a powerful slash that was able to chop through King's Karyudon, cutting his body in the process as well. Zoro even managed to clip one of his wings using this technique.

4 Trafalgar Law

One Piece: All Members Of The Worst Generation, Ranked By Strength (21)

Trafalgar Law has proved himself to be one of the most impressive fighters in One Piece. On Onigashima, he was key to the survival of the Worst Generation members. He proved himself against Kaido by being able to penetrate his defenses without much effort. What's more, Law is the strategist of the group, and the mastermind behind splitting Kaido and Big Mom up.

11 Things The One Piece Anime Does Better Than The Manga

There are quite a few things that the One Piece anime does better than the manga. Here are some great examples.

Trafalgar Law teamed up with Eustass Kid in the Wano County arc to take down Yonko Big Mom in the Wano Country arc, and the two have been doing a decent job by the looks of it. In the midst of the war, fans got to see Law awaken his Devil Fruit. Given that the Ope Ope no Mi is called the Ultimate Devil Fruit, it is easy to see that its awakening is incredible. With its power, Law can coat his sword in a sphere of energy called "KROOM" and use it to damage his opponents internally without making any incisions, using techniques such as Shock Wille. Clearly, the best of Trafalgar Law is yet to come.

Law In The Final Saga

One Piece: All Members Of The Worst Generation, Ranked By Strength (23)

Law has done well for himself in the story so far. In Wano, he played his part and taking down Big Mom and was the man primarily responsible for her fall. He also earned a 3 billion beri bounty just like Kid after Wano, however, he ended up running into Blackbeard. Unlike Kid, Law managed to put up a fight against him, however, the result was the same as he, along with his crew were defeated. Law was saved by Bepo at the last moment.

Law's Strongest Technique - Puncture Wille

After managing to awaken his Devil Fruit, law gained access to quite a lot of incredible abilities such as Puncture Wille. He used this ability in the fight against Big Mom and it was so strong that it shattered her bones from the inside as well as put a hole in the entirety of Onigashima, which went all the way down to the mainland of Wano and actually opened up a route to the underground volcano. This attack is extremely devastating and surely one of the strongest seen in the entire series.

3 Eustass Kid

One Piece: All Members Of The Worst Generation, Ranked By Strength (24)

South Blue's Eustass Kid had a bounty of 315 million berries shortly before the two-year timeskip, and it has risen to 470 million since then. Kid is extremely powerful and holds the power of the Jiki Jiki no Mi. He also has all three Haki types, rare among pirates in the world of One Piece. He fought Kaido and managed to damage him by crushing him with his power. He's currently engaging Big Mom in combat on Onigashima, and has been just as impressive in this fight Trafalgar Law, if not more.

Like Law, Kid has awakened his Devil Fruit and damaged Big Mom using its power. The awakening of the Jiki Jiki no Mi allows Kid to turn others into magnets instead of using his body as the magnet. Kid was able to turn Big Mom into a magnet using the "Assign" ability of his fruit. Consequently, every scrap of metal was immediately attracted to Big Mom, and Kid then crushed her with tremendous pressure using Punk Clash. While it wasn't enough to take her down, it showed the fans a glimpse of what One Piece's Worst Generation can do.

Kid In The Final Saga

One Piece: All Members Of The Worst Generation, Ranked By Strength (25)

Kid ended up playing a big role in the fall of Big Mom in Wano and was the one who delivered the last attack to her. He earned a three billion bounty for this, however, after Wano, Kid was defeated by Shanks in a single attack, which is embarrassing for him. Kid, along with his entire crew, was dismantled and currently, they cannot even be called pirates. Nonetheless, he was one of the most noteworthy members of the Worst Generation.

Kid's Strongest Technique - Damned Punk

Kid doesn't have too many impressive attacks in his arsenal, however, one that surely amazed the fans is Damned Punk. This technique is extremely powerful and is capable of damaging his enemies and doing large-scale destruction.

It was able to overpower Big Mom's tough exterior. At the same time, this attack was also powerful enough to wipe out Shanks's entire fleet, and had he not intervened, that certainly would have become a reality.

2 Monkey D. Luffy

One Piece: All Members Of The Worst Generation, Ranked By Strength (26)

Luffy is an exceptionally powerful pirate, known as the Fifth Emperor of the Sea. With the power of the Gomu Gomu no Mi and three advanced Haki types, Luffy is extremely difficult to take on in battle. On Onigashima, Luffy was able to pummel Kaido and even match his hybrid form without any gears active. Luffy's true power is yet to be seen, and he's already strong enough to compete with a Yonko. As the main protagonist of One Piece, Luffy is essentially as strong as a Yonko now, and he's sure to only grow stronger.

Luffy has come far in the Wano Country arc, and has gone from losing to Kaido in a single hit to matching him in battle. He has managed to learn how to use the advanced form of Ryuo to destroy things from the inside. At the same time, Luffy can also use the advanced form of Conqueror's Haki, called Conqueror's Haki Infusion. By coating his body in this Haki, he was able to fight even Kaido on an equal footing. During his fight against Kaido, he was able to split the heavens apart by clashing his own Haki against the Yonko's.

Luffy In The Final Saga

One Piece: All Members Of The Worst Generation, Ranked By Strength (27)

Luffy has now officially become a Yonko. This came after he defeated Kaido, following the Awakening of his Devil Fruit. Currently, Luffy is among the strongest pirates in One Piece and can hold his own against any of the other Four Emperors, being one of them himself. Luffy is Sun God Nika and it is expected of him to be among the very strongest. Like Kid and Law, he also received a 3 billion Beri bounty, however, he deserves much more than just that.

Luffy's Strongest Technique - Bajrang Gun

Bajrang Gun is, by far, the strongest technique that Luffy has up as sleeve. It sees Luffy make an island-sized fist and coat it in both colors of arms as well as the color of the Supreme King.

This technique was strong enough to crash Kaido was sent to the underground volcano in Wano.

1 Blackbeard

One Piece: All Members Of The Worst Generation, Ranked By Strength (28)

With a bounty of 2,247,600,000 berries, Blackbeard is the newest addition to the Yonko. He acquired this title after defeating the Whitebeard Pirates remnants during the two-year timeskip. Blackbeard has two Devil Fruit powers, which he can use to take on anyone in the world.

He also has access to at least two Haki types, and in the future, he will be Luffy's biggest rival. It is quite easy to see that Blackbeard is the strongest Worst Generation member right now, simply by his powers and his renown.

Blackbeard In The Final Saga

One Piece: All Members Of The Worst Generation, Ranked By Strength (29)

Blackbeard is the strongest member of the Worst Generation and that hasn't changed even now. Recently, his bounty was upgraded to 3.996 billion berries, it just goes to show that he has been making waves while the Straw Hat Pirates were in Wano. Blackbeard is extremely powerful and he is only going to grow more as the story unravels in the Final Saga. With two Devil Fruits and a powerful Haki, stopping Blackbeard is almost impossible.

Blackbeard's Strongest Technique - Kurouzu

Blackbeard has quite a lot of powerful techniques up his sleeves but none offer him as much of an advantage as Kurouzu. This technique sees him pull his enemies, especially Devil Fruit users, towards him.

Once he makes contact with them, they are unable to use their powers and are weakened greatly. Blackbeard can also counter with his Gura Gura no Mi to completely crush them.
