Good movie, should be rated R

This is an amazing Batman movie, but it is extremely violent, to the point where it’ll give your kids nightmares. The rudder is a sad*stic serial killer who uses death traps reminiscent of Saw to torture his victims. Within the first 10 minutes you see a man get beat to death. Heck, even Batman looks scary at some points. There is also two b words and one f bomb. Amazing cinematography, but definably should be rated R.

The Batman

The Batman is awesome. Not perfect, but really, really good. The acting, cinematography, visuals, soundtrack, it's all amazing, I would definitely recommend! It's very dark and violent, and it creates an amazing atmosphere over the film. Robert Pattinson was great as Batman, he's come along way from being Sparkles in Twilight. The movie is almost 3 hours long, and I love it. Does have some identity politics, but it doesn't ruin the movie. I've already seen in twice and I'm glad we finally got a Batman detective story. Overall and amazing film, you should see it!

Many people say it should be R rated but honestly it definitely should stay PG-13!

So many people are saying that the movie should be rated R but tbh all 12 year olds and up have seen that sort of violence in video games and movies, but obviously this all depends on your kid, I watched the movie with my friends and it’s so awesome, the storyline is enticing and I love the more dark and murder mystery type of movie Batman has become, it’s a must watch for anyone 13 or 14 years old! Trust me it’s such a good movie!

I hope they make a sequel!

Best one yet! The Batman has an excellent take on the iconic figure. Robert Pattison was a darker Bruce Wayne which I thought worked very well. The visuals are stunning, the story is gripping and suspense was killing me (that and the 3 hour run time). I think that it is worth seeing on the big screen and I can't wait to watch it again. The film is quite violent and I think that it will be appreciated more by kids in their mid teens.

If there was a rating between PG-13 and R this would be in the middle! Worse than PG-13!

Language, drugs/smoking/drinking, very graphic, Sex/nudity but not too much (Still has Sex/nudity that is not appropriate for some ages)! Very dark and frightening movie! Don't watch!

Possibly the Best Batman Movie

This film is INCREDIBLE. The story is amazing, the action is exciting, and the cinematography is some of the best ever put on film. It is a comic book movie, but it's not a superhero movie. It's a detective movie. And an amazing one. I haven't even mentioned the soundtrack, which I'm willing to bet will earn Michael Giacchino his 2nd Academy Award. I'll get this out of the way though. You absolutely 100% CANNOT show "The Batman" to a pre-teen. It's the darkest batman film to date (yes, darker than the film literally called "The Dark Knight") and it has the most violent scenes that I've ever seen in a comic book movie. Language is a bit strong (S***, B****, and one f-bomb that they missed in the expert review), but it's never frequent and most teens will probably know what these words are by this point (Infinity War is worse in the language category). It's clearly inspired by films like "Seven" and there's one part where you can get SAW vibes (though it's mostly implied). Robert Pattinson is great as this sad weirdo version of Bruce Wayne, who's more comfortable as Batman than as Bruce Wayne, and the Riddler is the single most psychotic villain in any batman film ever, with Paul Dano goes absolutely NUTS in the role. It's possibly the best batman film ever (I'm still not sure whether or not it's better than "The Dark Knight"), but it's a VERY hard PG-13 rating.

Best Batman movie! Better than dark knight!

Oh my god! This movie is so so so so so amazing!!! I love it! It’s such a great story with a great villian perfect acting and enjoyable! This is better than dark knight just by a little though. But this movie does have some disturbing scenes that probobaly 10 year old kids and up can watch. For example..at the beginning the riddler beats somebody to death with a carpet remover. In another scene riddler takes a guy and puts him inside a full body trap and has drugged rats ready to bite the guys skin off and the riddler live streams it on a social media platform. Some of the scenes are a little crazy but are so good! This movie is a masterpiece no matter what people say!

Dark, Violent, But Great Story

The Batman is a rare type of movie that you don’t see to much of these days. Like a lot of people here this movie is really stretching the limits of PG-13 and should most likely be R rated. All the reasons it is PG-13 is what you are going to get. There is a lot of strong violence that can sometimes be very disturbing and mature at times. In a way it is a lot more dark, violent, and disturbing than The Dark Knight. The language is a bit iffy and there is one F- Bomb used that Common Sense did not catch that is at the very beginning of the movie. The overall content of the story is very disturbing at times. The Riddler is shown killing and banging victims heads with a metal carpet tool. I cannot say that I disliked this movie but it was a very good but dark story. The cinematography was amazing as well as the film score. Overall this movie was the best movie I have seen in a while and I would say that if your child is mature enough you should definitely go and see this movie.

Darker then the dark night Trilogy. More language but outstanding. Pushed it For a PG-13
